Domino.

INFO

Domino’s interest in fashion photography began at sixteen, upon discovering Helmut Newton and hearing a crystal-clear voice go something like, ‘This some crazy motherf****r’.

Over the next two years, Domino shot nearly every face across the Spanish diaspora and developed a distinct style. Soon after, photography agencies started to approach him for representation. He turned them down.

Instead he founded a pop culture publication, humbly entitled Number One Journal. The debut issue—released only in print—quickly drew the attention of collectors and film industry insiders. Domino’s purist aesthetic paired with his no-bullshit editorial voice featuring interviews with culture-defining talent, in addition to the magazine’s unique 25x25 format, topped with ‘brandless’ covers  showcasing only the artist’s face—with not a shred of text—set it apart as a rare kind of editorial artifact.

Often working with artists just before their rise, Domino’s collaborations have been marked by a sense of instinctive timing—an editorial eye for what’s next. As a creative director, he’s helped artists and companies conceptualize full-scale rebrands—from visual identity to narrative architecture. He works internationally, with a studio base in Paris, France.
